India’s Exports Reach $824.9 Billion in FY25, But Aluminium Falls 10.79%*
India’s exports hit a record $824.9 billion in FY 2024–25, up 6.01% from the previous year’s $778.1 billion. This growth was mainly driven by strong performances in services and non-petroleum merchandise exports.
Services exports rose 13.6% to $387.5 billion.
Non-petroleum goods exports increased 6% to $374.1 billion — both all-time highs.
Despite the overall growth, aluminium exports fell by 10.79%, highlighting sector-specific struggles.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman praised exporters for succeeding despite global challenges, saying they are "swimming against the current."
