India Achieves Major Agricultural Export Milestones

The Central Government announced on February 21 that India's agricultural exports have surged, with several products reaching international markets for the first time. This expansion not only boosts trade but also empowers farmers and increases rural incomes.

Key First-Time Exports:

Pomegranates to Australia – Premium Sangola and Pakwa pomegranates were shipped by sea, improving India's fresh fruit market access.

Fig Juice to Poland – India’s GI-tagged Purandar figs entered the Polish market in 2024 after earlier exports to Germany in 2022.
