Vizhinjam Port to Become India’s Largest in a Decade
Kerala Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal announced that the Vizhinjam International Seaport, operated by Adani Ports, will be India's biggest port within 10 years.
Speaking at the Vizhinjam Conclave 2025, he emphasized the port's deep-water capabilities (18-25m depth) and strategic location on global shipping lanes, allowing it to handle the world’s largest vessels.
